One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice --
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
"Mend my life!"
each voice cried.
But you didn't stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voice behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do --
determined to save
the only life that you could save.
The Journey
Mary Oliver
Imagine a society where the essence of each and every one of us was not only appreciated but is celebrated. A world where we feel safe and encouraged to be who we truly are. Yet, here we stand, in a reality shaped by the relentless pursuit of material wealth, power and control.
The heartbeat of our Western societies pulsates with almost maddening rhythm, where power, blind ambition, competition, and perfectionism hold great influence. This rhythm, inherited from generations raised in patriarchal conditioning, has overshadowed the delicate yet powerful values of compassion, intuition, and emotion. It’s a legacy that has left countless women feeling overworked, undervalued, and disconnected from their true selves.

The staggering fact that the question, "How do I become my true self?" generates 2.6 billion search results speaks volumes. It’s a collective cry from those who recognize the dissonance between their true nature and the roles they’ve been conditioned to play.

This isn’t just a women's issue. Many men and women, regardless of their societal standing, find themselves trapped within the confines of patriarchal norms or, worse, have internalized these norms so deeply they follow them without question. Our global society operates on a principle of control—over people, nations, bodies, and nature—all in the name of more, better, faster.

But the winds of change are stirring. Today, it’s clear that merely adopting to the prescribed ways of being in the "real world" is no longer enough for women. In truth, it’s no longer enough for anyone. The persistence on mind over matter, where bodies are pushed to the brink while the intellect alone is valued, has led us to a breaking point. We have denied the sacredness of our bodies and the earth, losing respect for their inherent wisdom.

When we persist in this destructive cycle, and push our bodies year after year they start to rebel, manifesting symptoms and forcing us to pay attention. Sometimes, the wake-up call is more severe: personal traumas like serious illness, the death of a loved one, or divorce compel us to pause and reflect. These moments of crisis have the potential to serve as an opening, an invitation to follow a different path, to remember who we truly are and why we are here. In these moments, a different voice begins to emerge—a voice that urges us to listen, to slow down, and to embrace the values and qualities that we’ve long neglected.
This journey back to our true selves is not easy, but it is essential. We begin to ask ourselves: What matters to me truly? What am I yearning for in this life? How do I want to be remembered? It requires us to take time, to slow down to cultivate compassion for ourselves, to trust our intuition, and to have the courage to let go of the old and say yes to our soul.

Nicola Jane Hobbs writes,

Growing up, I never knew a relaxed woman. Successful women? Yes. Productive women? Plenty. Anxious and afraid and apologetic women? Heaps of them. But relaxed women? At-ease women? Women who don't dissect their days into half hour slots of productivity? Women who prioritize rest and pleasure and play? Women who aren't afraid to take up space in the world? Women who give themselves unconditional permission to relax? Without guilt? Without apology? Without feeling like they need to earn it? I'm not sure I've ever met a woman like that. But I would like to become one.

So, I ask you now—What kind of woman would you like to become?
ARE YOU READY TO LET GO OF THE OLD AND SAY YES TO YOUR SOUL?
Whether you're seeking individual support, group experiences, or ongoing community engagement, there is something for everyone on this journey toward wholeness.

My darling, you can’t see it, can you? How like the Moon you are. Both of you so timid in yourselves; hiding pieces from the world. Then, there are those rare moments when you both are full, and it becomes hard to look away.
